February 8, 2005 Dear Cassandra, I have never heard your music, but I just recently viewed a VH1 ‘Behind the Music’ program on your late husband, John Denver. I saw that you gave a lovely tribute to him and I know you and he are the parents of your beautiful daughter, together, Jesse Belle. I really have no reason to write you except to let you know my heart goes out to those people that John Denver loved. Learning about John’s life and goals and dreams has been very inspirational to me. I am so happy that following your sad divorce, at least you were able to stay friends. Anyway…I just thought you might want to know, I appreciate what you and John had together, however short. I wish you success in whatever musical endeavors you may pursue. Sincerely, Trudy Thomas |
