June 17th Ok I have been corrected on a spelling error in my journal entry's -- the word mum which I grew up with and by the way pronounce that way. I have been spelling "mom" which of course my daughter Jesse calls me and spells that way and I have grown accustomed to seeing. Anyway if I have insulted any Aussie Mums -- oops, sorry -- just a spelling error. Still slaving away over a hot guitar and making music here at the home we call the Knest (the actual spelling for our home). My mum is here visiting from Australia again and we have begun writting her life story. If anyone has any storyies they can remember about her you can email them to me at cassandramusic@aol.com. She sang under the name Lorraine Simpkin. which is her married name, and then Tom T Hall changed her name to Lorraine Delaney and recorded with her. She also sang under the name "The Delaneys" as a duet with me, touring Australia. She won the best female country singer and entertainer award for two years in a row in Queensland.
