Taking her back to America with him, Cassandra went on tour with her new love as his back-up singer. The perfect pair, they had everything in common: a passion for country music, singing, song writing and a natural acting talent. Everywhere Cassandra was going John had already been to the top of it. As their love grew, John became Cassie’s mentor, teacher and inspiration. Her new husband nurtured her talent. Music was their whole life. The lovers not only performed together they wrote together. Cassandra sings vocals on three of Denver’s albums and appeared in four of his music videos. They had a country hit single together with “High Wide and Handsome.” They even explored acting together starring in AJ Gurney’s play “Love Letters” at the Wheeler Opera House. |
